Credible Call of Duty leaker, TheGamingRevolution, in his latest YouTube video, has now provided a sneak peek into the leaked weapons' gameplay. He obtained the gameplay footage from a CoD enthusiast, @BKTOOR, on Twitter.
The first weapon showcased in the footage is the Galil. It is an Israeli AR and a close relative of the AK-47 with almost similar damage and good control. According to TGR, it will be a different, modern variant of the Galil than previous CoD titles.
The next weapon on display is the Vector. This SMG has the second-highest fire rate stats within the in-game files. Although it has decent damage and high accuracy, the range and control are lackluster. That's not all. There's more to the weapon additions.
The gameplay footage also features a new melee weapon. The Akimbo Blades (also shown in the trailer) are headed Modern Warfare's way in the fourth season. Additionally, the leaker mentions the presence of Akimbo Batons in the game files. However, at this moment, it is uncertain whether the batons will come in season four or later.
TheGamingRevolution has previously discussed the possibilities of a few more weapons (an SMG, DMR, and anti-material rifle) appearing in the game. In that video, he provided the audio of gunfire for the weapons, including camo textures for the Galil and Vector. You can read about it as well as watch the video by clicking here.
The Call of Duty YouTuber further highlighted the Scrapyard map appearing in the background of the Season 4 logo within the trailer. There have been rumblings about Scrapyard coming to Modern Warfare for quite some time. It was one of the many maps discovered by data miners in the game files. Moreover, TGR disclosed of finding multiple new modes for the multiplayer and Warzone as well, within the in-game files.
However, since Infinity Ward hasn't released a full trailer for Season 4 yet, there is no official confirmation about these arrivals. Expect them to make the announcements soon as well as provide a roadmap in the build-up to the new season in Modern Warfare and Warzone. Till then, stay tuned.
Call of Duty players who didn't get fully get their fix from the big Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer reveal at the start of the month now have 24 more minutes of gameplay to check out. Infinity Ward released another gameplay video this week that takes players on a tour free of commentary through five different multiplayer modes and five different maps. Killstreaks, objectives, and more can all be seen in the video as we see a sampling of the different loadouts in Modern Warfare.

All the gameplay in the video below was captured on a PlayStation 4 Pro in case owners of that console were wondering how the game will play on their system. You'll see some of the new features in Modern Warfare including the ability to mount a gun on a ledge or similar structure for more stability. Many of the guns also have alternate fire modes to switch between including single-fire, burst-fire, and fully automatic modes. Whatever mode you're using, you can also lean side to side while aiming to peek around cover and get the drop on enemies.
'We're back with more multiplayer gameplay!' Infinity Ward said about the video. 'Captured in 4K on PlayStation 4 Pro, this gameplay includes 5 different game modes across 5 multiplayer maps, including one night variant.'
Infinity Ward's video is a strong showcase of what a seasoned Call of Duty player will be able to do in Modern Warfare. It's also refreshing to see that whoever is playing the game for this preview misses their big jumps onto ledges and walls from time to time just like the rest of us.
One of the maps previewed in the video showcases another one of Modern Warfare's new features itself. The Azhir Cave (Night) map, as its name suggests, sees players do battle at night where everything is bathed in the green tint of night vision devices. Limited sources of light like lamps and fires brighten some things up a bit, but you'll need the night vision equipment each player has to see what's happening.
